Install
AIO Relay™ v1.2.0 uses a Windows Tauri installer package. Install from the setup executable.
Windows (current production build)
- Installer access is currently gated. Authorize install package by sending a request to mail@aiorelay.us.
- Close any running AIO Relay™ sessions before install/upgrade.
- Run the installer and complete the prompts.
- Launch AIO Relay™ from the installed app shortcut.
Default install path is typically C:\Portable\AIORelay unless changed in the installer.
During upgrade, if streams are currently live, confirm intent before proceeding. If streams are not active,
continue with install.
Pre-Install Checklist
4 install methods:
1. Install/Update
Data files remain.
2. Uninstall and Wipe
Removes saved profiles/data.
3. Profile Reset
Keeps installation, wipes profiles/data only.
4. Torch
Removes everything.
Confirm whether live streams are active before starting upgrade.
Post-install behavior
- UI runs from the installed desktop app window (Tauri shell).
- Close UI hides the UI only; backend/tray remain active.
- I/O (press/hold) opens the Live Ops dashboard window.
- Power is full shutdown and always shows a warning/confirm prompt.
- Use the tray menu to reopen the UI or manage backend state.
- Post-install note: verify Close UI hides UI only while tray/backend remain active.
v1.2.0 supports managed ingest choices for Display Capture, Window Capture, and Playlist.
Capture modes expose desktop audio, microphone, or desktop + microphone from Stream Details. Playlist mode uses the
local playlist/ folder and is controlled from the Playlist tab.
Ports and networking
- UI / API:
3001
- RTMP ingest:
1935
- Monitor HLS:
8000
Critical SSL switch warning: do not enable SSL/HSTS mode on a standard LAN/local install. Use SSL mode only
when you have a fully configured HTTPS tunnel/reverse proxy and valid certificate chain. Enabling it without that
setup can lock clients out of the UI until browser SSL state is cleared.
LAN Mode is toggled in App Settings. v1.2.0 features optimized process lifecycle management for production
stability.
Operator control definitions
- Reload Ingest: reloads ingest feed path/player pipeline.
- Flush Cache: clears cached HLS segments (not a full runtime reset).
- Reset: broader backend/runtime reset scope.
macOS
macOS installer is a future build and not part of the current v1.2.0 release package.
